Why us

We pay the same bills you do.

A solar system runs for decades. Who installs it matters as much as what gets installed.

01

Born on the islands

Started in Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera. We live with the salt air, the storm seasons, and the same fuel charge you do. We install here, and we are still here after the job is done.

02

Personalized to your usage

Your bills tell us exactly what your home uses, and we design the system around that. The right size for your house, nothing more, nothing less.

03

Batteries in every system

Panels alone shut down when the grid does. Every system we install includes battery storage, because a solar home that goes dark with the rest of the street defeats the purpose.

04

Real numbers when you want them

The calculator below prices a system before we ask for anything. No callback, no site visit, no pressure. Run the math on your own time, then decide if you want to talk.

Why solar

You are already paying for it.

Every month, your power bill leaves and buys you nothing that lasts. Solar takes that same spending and points it at something you own. The system pays for itself out of the bill it replaces, then keeps producing for decades after.

01

It pays for itself

You will spend this money either way. Send it to BPL forever, or spend a few years of it on a system and then stop. The bill you already pay is what finances it.

02

Then it pays you

Once the system pays back, the bill money stays in your pocket. A $750 monthly bill is $9,000 a year that stops leaving your accounts.

03

It builds equity in your home

Solar stays with the house, and buyers pay for it. Berkeley Lab measured about $4 more per watt at sale. The full numbers are further down this page.

04

The outages stop being yours

Your batteries carry the house through every cut, day or night. Some outages last for days. Yours will last as long as it takes you to notice the street went dark.

05

Your equipment lasts longer

Grid surges quietly shorten the life of ACs, fridges, and electronics. Power made on your own roof arrives clean and steady, with nothing coming down the line to spike it.

06

You choose your relationship with the grid

Stay connected and feed your extra power back, which takes strain off the grid for everyone. Or go fully independent, with no BPL account at all. Both are on the table.

Who this fits

Is this you?

Solar is an investment, and it works hardest in certain situations. If you see yourself below, the calculator will likely have good news for you.

01

You run a vacation rental

Power is the cost that swings hardest when guests run the AC around the clock. Take it off the books and every booking earns what you expected it to.

02

You have a larger home

Central air, pool pump, full family. The bigger your bill, the more of your money the fuel charge is taking, and the more a system puts back in your pocket each month.

03

Your business runs on refrigeration

Freezers and coolers never get a day off, and neither does that bill. Solar covers your heaviest constant load, and the batteries protect your stock through every outage.

04

Your bill is $400 or more

Below that, the math takes longer to work. At $400 and up, the numbers get serious. Type yours into the calculator and see where you land.

What would solar cost you?

Type in what you pay BPL in a normal month. We will show you what a system costs, and how fast it pays you back.

The other option

Thinking about a generator instead?

Fair question. Half the island has one. Here is the honest truth about both.

Generator
  • Only helps when the power is out
  • Burns fuel every hour it runs. You buy that fuel
  • Needs oil changes and fixing, on a schedule
  • Loud, hot, and wears out a little more every hour
  • Your BPL bill stays exactly the same
Solar with batteries
  • Makes power every single day
  • The fuel is sunlight. Sunlight is free
  • No engine. No oil, no filters
  • Silent, and lasts for decades
  • Your BPL bill shrinks or goes away

A generator is a cost that waits for bad days. Solar works every day and covers the bad ones too. Already own a generator? Keep it as backup. With solar, it will almost never need to run.

Your home's value

Pay BPL, or pay yourself.

Solar stays with the house. If you ever sell, the buyer gets a home with no power bill. Buyers pay more for that.

Big US studies prove it. Berkeley Lab looked at almost 22,000 home sales. Buyers paid about $4 more for every watt of solar on the roof. Zillow found solar homes sold for 4.1% more. A 2025 study of 5,000 homes found 5 to 10% more.

Those are US numbers. Nobody has done a Bahamian study yet. But power costs far more here, so solar should matter even more here.

Who we are

Started in Tarpum Bay.

We live on Eleuthera. We get the same power cuts you do. The same surges that kill appliances. The same bills that climb every time oil moves.

The Bahamas gets sun almost every day of the year. And still we pay some of the highest power rates anywhere. That never made sense to us. So we did something about it.

We size your system from your real bills. We install it right. And you own it, outright, from day one.

Your own power. Your own terms. Made for the islands.

Where this is going

The islands are moving. Get there first.

Almost all our power comes from diesel, shipped in on boats and burned in a plant. That is why the fuel charge exists. And it is why the grid strains every summer.

The country has already decided to change this. The national plan calls for 30% clean power by 2030. Today we are near 7%.

Every roof that switches helps. It takes weight off the grid, so there are fewer cuts for everyone. The air in the settlements gets cleaner. And your money stays on the island instead of leaving on a fuel tanker.

This country sells the world clean water and clear skies. Running it on sunlight is where this ends up. The only question is who gets there early.

Straight answers

Questions people ask.

Do I still need BPL?

Your choice. We can build you grid-tied, so you keep your BPL connection and feed extra power back, or fully independent, with no BPL account at all. We will tell you honestly which one your usage supports.

What about night time and rain?

The batteries take over. They store sun power during the day and run your house through the night. We size them with room to spare for cloudy days.

Is there duty on solar?

No. Solar comes into the Bahamas duty free. Only the 10% VAT applies. That is a big reason the math works so well here.

How long does the install take?

A few days at your home once the parts arrive. First we visit your place to check the roof and plan the job.

What is the warranty?

Panels: 30 years. Batteries: 10 years. Inverters: 5 years. Mounts: 10 years.

Will it survive a hurricane?

The mounts are made for our winds. A properly bolted array holds better than most roofs do. We check yours at the site visit and show you exactly how it all ties down.

Do you work on the Family Islands?

Yes. We started on Eleuthera. Shipping to your island goes into your quote, so there are no surprises later.

How good is the calculator?

It is a good guess built on real BPL rates. But it cannot see your roof or your real bills. For true numbers, request your personalized offer and attach your bills.
